Prabowo: Gerindra Party Will Fight Corruption Up to Its Roots

Pojok Nasional. Presidential candidate number 02, Prabowo Subianto received a question from presidential candidate number 01, Joko Widodo regarding corruption. This was stated in the first debate of the 2019 Presidential Election at Bidakara Hotel, South Jakarta, Thursday (01/17/2019).

Jokowi said, according to Indonesia 's Corruption Watch (ICW), the People's Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) led by Prabowo was one of the largest parties nominating former corruption prisoners as candidates.
In response, Prabowo replied that he had never received the report from ICW. He also considered that it was very subjective.

"I do not agree with that, I am the one who selects these candidates, if there is evidence, please report it to us," Prabowo said at the Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta, Thursday (11/17/2019).
He also appealed to Jokowi not to accuse each other of their respective parties. According to him, Gerindra is an anti-corruption party.

"I guarantee the Gerindra Party will fight corruption to its roots. If there are members of Gerindra who are corrupt, I will go to jail by myself, "said Prabowo.
Meanwhile, the vice-presidential candidate Sandiaga Uno also promised a better Indonesia in the future. If elected, he ensures there will be no more corruption in Indonesia.

Sandiaga wants to realize law enforcement that is not selective, so that it can boost the economy. Sandi wants justice to be felt by the whole community.
"We make sure the law produces a sense of justice in the community," said Sandiaga in the inaugural debate of 2019 presidential and vice presidential candidates at Bidakara Hotel, South Jakarta, Thursday (01/17/2019).

Furthermore, Sandi spoke about the promise of achieving better law enforcement. He ensured there would be no more corruption in Indonesia if elected with Prabowo Subianto.
"Together with Prabowo-Sandi, God willing, we uphold the law, we make sure there is no corruption anymore, we make sure Indonesia is prosperous," said Sandiaga.

It is known that the presidential candidate Prabowo in his vision-mission speech 'Indonesia Menang' confirmed the law enforcement program indiscriminately. Because justice must be for all parties.
