EU Ambassador Comes to Prabowo-Sandi BPN Headquarters
Jurnal Update. Chairman of the National Winning Body (BPN) Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno, Djoko Santoso received a visit from the ambassadors of EU member countries on Jalan Kertangera, Kebyoran Baru, South Jakarta, Friday (01/18/2019). The meeting was also attended by the Director of Communication and Media of BPN, Hashim Djojohadikusumo and Member of the BPN Steering Board, Fadli Zon.
Meanwhile, a guest group led by the European Union Ambassador, H.E. Vincent Guerend was joined by ambassadors of European Union countries. Like England, Slovakia, Italy, Romania, the Netherlands, Ireland, Finland, Denmark, Belgium, Hungary, Portugal, France, Sweden, Finland, Germany, the Czech.
A number of issues were discussed in this meeting which were related to Prabowo-Sandi's economic policy. Especially regarding the issue of tax reform to openness to the world of investment and business.
"In this meeting we emphasized that Prabowo-Sandi will promote balanced and fair cooperation between countries, especially in the service industry sector," said Director of Foreign Relations of BPN Prabowo-Sandi, Irawan Ronodipuro through a statement on Friday (01/18/2019).
Not only about economic issues, BPN Prabowo-Sandi and the ambassadors of the European Union (EU) also discussed social welfare issues such as increasing the purchasing power of the people and opening jobs.
He added, the Permanent Voters List (DPT) issued by the KPU was also discussed at this meeting. In fact, Prabowo-Sandi BPN stated the potential for electoral fraud because the DPT in the 2019 Presidential Election was inaccurate.
"We convey the fact that there are threats to integrity, honesty and transparency in the final voter list. We find the names of people who have passed away, or incomplete ID cards, but are still registered in the DPT, "said Irawan.
"We also encourage the European Union to also monitor the running of the 2019 election so that it takes place honestly and fairly for the better quality of Indonesian democracy," he concluded.
